The children have enjoyed exploring shapes and using templates to create pictures. They worked well in pairs, taking it in turns to name and collect the shapes they needed. We thought about whether we needed to rotate the shape or flip it to help it match up correctly. They then had a go at making some pictures of their own, making choices about which shape would work the best.
